We are delighted to announce that the library's very own Bob Barnett has been named Samford's Student Employee of the year for 2014!

"Bob’s upbeat demeanor and can do attitude brightens anyone’s day he encounters and make him a highly desired employee. He starts each shift by asking “Is there anything I can do to help YOU today?” He is the only student who asks such a sincere question and is willing to do anything that is asked of him. His strong human relations skills enable him to interface very effectively with many different constituencies including library staff, faculty, staff, and students. Bob’s strong verbal and written communications skills allow him to relay information in a clear and coherent manner. Bob is a naturally caring person with a strong assistance orientation who consistently demonstrates a solid service orientation towards whomever he is helping."
