Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, the University Library is temporarily displaying The Heritage Edition of The Saint John's Bible, Volume 1. Completely handwritten and illuminated, The Saint John's Bible was commissioned by a Benedictine Abbey in 1998 and completed in 2011. The first volume contains the Pentateuch - Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy - and is on display on the 1st floor of the library between the Grand Staircase and the Circulation Desk. This Heritage Edition is one of a limited number of fine art reproductions.
You can explore The Saint John's Bible at the official web site.
