UNIVERSITY-WIDE EARTH DAY ART EXHIBITION 2010
Calling all artists! Earth Day is coming! Display your earth-related art!
Who: Samford artists: students (graduate or undergraduate), staff or faculty
What: Any piece of art that is framed and ready to hang, or sculpture suitable and ready to be displayed. If you are in doubt, email Naomi Gold, ngold@samford.edu.
Where: Judged exhibition in the University Library
When: April 18 – May 1, 2010
To participate in the show, you must do the following:
Deliver artwork between 9 am and 4 pm, Tuesday April 6 through Tuesday April 16, to Naomi Gold, Room 224, University Library.
Your submissions must be accompanied by the appropriate paperwork. Please download the paperwork instructions from this link.

EBSCO Databases Emailing Problems
Recently you may have tried to e-mail articles to your email account from one of the databases provided by EBSCO. In certain random instances, this e-mailing feature is not working. You might have seen an error message informing you that your email address is invalid; the article(s) you were trying to e-mail didn't make it to your inbox.
Please be assured that we are working with EBSCO to have this problem corrected. EBSCO has given the problem high priority as other customers are reporting the same problem. Until a fix is in place, this may be an error that you encounter in the EBSCOhost databases. It will be beneficial to us if you will let us know when that happens. You may report this error to the Reference Desk at 726-2196.

Auto Recall and Repair Information
Courtesy of the Alabama Virtual Library, the University Library provides access to the Auto Repair Reference Center (ARRC). In ARRC, you can find current recall information for many makes/models in the news lately, including these Toyotas:
Avalon – 2005-2008
Camry – 2007-2009
Corolla – 2009
Sequoia – 2008
Tundra – 2007-2008
You can find the notice via the following path, once you have selected the year, make, model, and engine size of your vehicle:
1. Service Bulletins and Recalls
2. Fuel Systems, Drivability, Filters (Air & Fuel)
3. 02/05/2010 – RECALL – Vehicle Speed Control…
This database is a great place to find information on many vehicles manufactured from 1945 - 2009. Repair procedures, service bulletins and recalls, wiring diagrams, estimated labor and diagnostic costs per repair/maintenance routine, specifications, and maintenance intervals and recommended service(s)are available.
